On Friday, May 14th, Legacy participated as a sponsor and shark in Tower Blendz first ever Shark Tank for INVEST (Innovative Vocational Education Skills Training), a community enrichment program. INVEST focuses on connecting students with mentors who facilitate their journey through the program. The areas of learning are Electronics Repair, Applied Learning through Reading, Coding, Money Management and Life Skills. Their instructors guide students through their schedule on a daily basis, helping them select the best courses that match their passion and interests.

The INVEST program runs for 3 months and at the conclusion students are given a certificate of completion. Top students have the opportunity to continue in an advance placement program that gives them the opportunity to develop their gifts and continue training through an internship. This internship provides experience in a field that matches a students skills and interests.

This sponsorship came about through a donation from our Legacy Community Committee, which allows for Legacy to be impactful in our community through diverse projects, fun partnerships, education and fundraising support.
